Adopt a Boxer / Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat)

Hi, I’m Igloo! I have a beautiful brindle coat and sweet puppy eyes to match. I am a happy and silly boy who loves to play. I came to rescue with my brother and sister, we were left in a box outside the humane society in Illinois. I am much happier to be here in Minnesota searching for my forever family.

I am just a little guy so I am still learning how to be a good house guest in my new foster home. My foster mom is teaching me how to go potty outside. I sometimes forget to let her know when I need to go potty though, especially when I am busy playing with my toys. But I try hard to remember and I know that when I wake up and come out of my kennel, the first thing we do is go outside. I don’t really like my kennel, but my foster mom is also helping me understand that it’s not a scary place. I haven’t mastered any tricks yet, but I am pretty good at sit. I am also quickly learning what no means. I am a very smart boy and I love to learn, so I think it would be awesome if my forever family brought me to training classes when I am a bit older.

In my foster home, I live with 2 cats and 2 bunnies! The bunnies are weird… they smell me and I smell them back and that’s it. I said “Hi” to them once, but my foster mom didn’t like that so I leave them alone now. The cats are pretty cool – one of them even plays with me! We bop each other on the head and then run away. I also have a canine foster sister, she’s an 80 pound pittie and I follow her everywhere. I love her. I haven’t met any tiny humans yet, but I am small enough to learn to live with them, so I think I would like that!

I am the very best dog in the world because I am the perfect combination of smart and cute. I love making my humans happy and nothing makes me more excited that when you are excited with me! My dream forever home would have a huge backyard and another dog for me to play with. I want my forever family to love me forever and give me lots of snuggles and kisses.
